Yeah, I included timestamps in the description but substack didn't save it when I published the post. The newest episode has timestamps and I'll make sure they're included for future ones.
Haven't listened yet (obviously, given how soon I got here) but loved his use of the kick through the open side against Rebecki. I was a bit concerned for him against a southpaw in MJ on the feet since CDF's tool to push the pace on Taisumov was his jab + his pressure footwork has always been really bad (and would probably be worse if a guy could just control the lead hand and circle to the rear side), but he seemed to start workshopping counter kicks through the open side so he could just catch a faster guy on exit even if he didn't quite get the timing right as a 39 year old. Here, he seemed to develop that further - round kicking on Rebecki's entries and exits, and using the front kick/throwaway rear hand as a setup to jab into range and keep Rebecki moving
Also those rear hooks to the body at the end were disgusting. Feel like he was top-7ish at worst at his peak but ran into a bad matchup to end his run, sadly a much less coherent scrambly guy is the top contender now
The kicks and knees were a really nice touch with how Rebecki automatically ducks onto his rear hip. Lovely countergrappling too, whenever he's fighting a wrestler he pulls off some of the slickest grappling I've seen in MMA.
Is it possible to get timestamps for these episodes in the future? I'm panning through for Muay Thai stuff and it's hard without points of reference

Great, thanks very much
CDF is so GOATed

His fight against Gillespe is what got me out of the "grappling sucks" phase, that was awe inspiring, but this might've been better
CDF and Charles Oliveira single handedly keeping BJJ alive for guys who don't have great takedowns
I would throw roberto lopes in there too
The only guy in MMA for whom "just get taken down and scramble out" is a real option
Except when he fight Dariush :(
Dude beat two pace monsters over the distance, post prime, with like 2 rounds of total cardio between both fights
The best eva
